Loans for tradies: home, ute, equipment and more

Finance for plumbers, electricians, carpenters, landscapers, tilers and other trades, whose income often swings month to month. We prove your income with BAS, bank statements, interim financials or an accountant's declaration, and arrange the loans in the order that protects your borrowing power.

A tradie who moves from a wage to their own ABN can earn more and still look riskier to a bank: irregular invoices, a young ABN, and equipment debt all count against a standard assessment. The fix is the right lender and the right order, for example buying the home before financing a new ute, because new debt reduces what a home lender will offer.

“We wanted to cash out against our home to renovate and had no idea where to start. Julie was so helpful from day one. She walked us through all our options, explained the numbers clearly, and found us a great deal that let us access the equity without messing up our existing loan. Communication was excellent the whole time, everything was handled quickly and settlement was smooth. Made what could have been stressful actually really easy. Highly recommend Julie if you need a mortgage broker.”

FAQs

Questions answered

What are tradie loans?
Tradie loans, as Mortgage Pass arranges them, are for tradespeople whose income fluctuates or who are self-employed, assessed with flexible documents.
What documents can I use instead of tax returns?
Mortgage Pass can use BAS, bank statements, interim financials or an accountant's declaration.
Should I finance my ute before or after my home loan?
Usually after, Mortgage Pass advises, because new debt reduces home loan borrowing power.
